Crocheted Fall Lap Quilt or Afghan

Cozy up with a warm lap quilt on cool fall afternoons with an easy crochet pattern just perfect for Thanksgiving. Or just throw it on a chair to create a Thanksgiving accent or gift it to the dinner hostess this holiday season.

What you will need:

1. 3 oz. Color A

2. 3 oz. Color B

3. Crochet Hook

Directions:

Row 1 - Dc. in 3rd chain from hook (ch 2 always counts as the 1st dc). Dc in each of next 2 chain (skip 1 ch. Dc. In each of the next 5 chains, skip 1 chain) 6 times, dc in each of last 3 chain, Ch 2, turn.

Row 2 - Skip first dc, through back loops only. Dc in each of next 2 dc, (skip 1 dc, dc in each of next 5 dc, 3 dc in next dc, dc in next 5 dc, 3 dc in next dc, dc in next 5 dc, skip 1 dc) 6 times, dc in each of last 3 dc, working off last 2 loops of last dc with Color B, cut A, chain 2 and turn.

Repeat Rows 1 and 2 till desired length required. Ending with Color A. Fasten off.
