'Thankful Recipes' Recipe Book
Use Thanksgiving or Fall themed scrapbooking papers and stickers to
create a beautiful recipe book to gift or save favorite Thanksgiving
recipes.
What
you will need:
1. Thanksgiving or Fall themed papers
2. Plain cardstock for front cover, back cover and recipe pages
3. Stamps, Stickers, Ink Pads, Die cuts etc to embellish each page.
4. Recipe printouts if you plan to gift your personal recipes or
cutout recipes if you are making this book to save your favorite
recipes for your own use.
4. Punch and binder rings or glue to hold pages together.
Ideas for Pages:

The cover of the recipe book is formed by gluing Thanksgiving themed
paper onto plain cardstock. Cardstock stickers (delicious, caramel
apples and 'on the menu') are used to enhance the page and are glued
on after inking their edges with brown stamp ink. A cream colored
tag is also adhered to the cover after inking its edges. The tag was
first prepared by using stickers to form the phrase 'Thankful
Recipes' and then mounted using foam circles to give it a raised
look.
Following are samples from the inside of the book to inspire your own
pages. The remainder of the page after gluing on the recipe has been
decorated with co-ordinating Thanksgiving patterned paper and
stickers.

The background in the following two pages has been created using the
stamp pads onto the card stock.

The recipe on this page has been 'framed' by fall leaf cutouts
purchased on eBay.

The last page in the book is turned into a 'pocket page' using
patterned paper to create the pocket and a strip of solid co-ordinating
paper which was trimmed on one side using decorative-edged scissors
to create the look of a folded top. This pocket can be used for
storing more recipes, notes, kitchen labels etc.

And finally, the back cover.

Bind the book by either gluing together the pages or by punching holes
in all the pages and inserting ribbon or binder rings in them.
