Thanksgiving Decorative Votive Candles

This simple craft creates a stunning look that will add a warm touch of the season to your home.

What you will need:

1. Yellow tissue paper
2. White school glue
3. Water
4. Plastic cup
5. Small paintbrush
6. Glass candleholder
7. Candle
8. Acrylic varnish
9. Leaf stickers

Directions:

1. Remove any stickers on the glass candleholder.
2. Thoroughly wash and dry the holder.
3. Mix equal parts water and white school glue in the plastic cup using the paintbrush.
4. Tear pieces of yellow tissue paper and use the glue mixture and paintbrush to decoupage the outside of the candleholder.
5. Cover with one layer and allow the glue to dry.
6. Cover any places that look especially see through with another layer of tissue paper.
7. Allow candleholder to dry.
8. Rinse paintbrush well.
9. Put the stickers on the candleholder in a nice arrangement.
10. Use the paintbrush to cover the entire outside of the candleholder with acrylic varnish.
11. Let the varnish dry.
